Nice is an American band from Orange County, California, with a distinctly British sound. Formed in October 2000 by the Anderson brothers—John, Mike, and Ricky—along with bassist Dave Des Armier and keyboardist John "JP" Peil, the quintet draws heavily from Brit-pop acts like Oasis, Suede, Duran Duran, Coldplay, Travis, and the Lightning Seeds, as well as the Beatles and R.E.M.
