Pedrito Martinez

Pedro Pablo “Pedrito” Martinez was born in Havana, Cuba on September 12, 1973, and began his musical career at age 11 rooted in rumba and Afro-Cuban Yoruba traditions. After settling in New York City in 1998, he recorded or performed with artists including Wynton Marsalis, Paul Simon, and Eric Clapton, contributing to over 100 albums.
