Pimp C

Pimp C, born Chad Butler, formed UGK with partner Bun B and helped put Houston hip-hop in the spotlight. UGK's rise began in 1988. In 2002, he was sentenced to eight years in prison for violating probation. While incarcerated, his solo debut Sweet James Jones Stories was released in 2005. He was released later that year.
