Marisa Monte is a Brazilian singer, composer, instrumentalist, and producer of Brazilian popular music and samba. As of 2011, she had sold 10 million albums worldwide and won numerous awards, including four Latin Grammys. Rolling Stone Brasil considers her one of the greatest Brazilian singers of all time.
