Artic Monkeys

Founded in 2002, the Artic Monkeys started their musical journey by playing energetic gigs in their local region of Sheffield, England. The band circulated their demo, which they titled 'Beneath the Boardwalk,' and began to gain significant attention. Their debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, was released in 2006 and quickly became the fastest-selling debut album in British music history, defining the British music scene during that period and winning the Mercury Prize.
