YouTube is the closest thing we have to a time machine, together with music.

I had just been discharged from the navy. And walked up the hill in Newport to listen to the Jazz festive.  It was a magical time and those 4 days will always be in my memory. I’m 80 now and it’s like yesterday.

I lived it, I loved it.  I was a teenage girl unencumbered, just enjoying every minute. Here I sit with my husband on hospice wishing we both could go back to 1968 when we married.  Just two young people loving and living every minute.

My favorite part is the spellbound, attentive audience and absolutely no phones, just...being together, witnessing and making memories.

I&#39;m 81 and an &quot;older&quot; child of the 60s. I&#39;m expecting more years as a healthy man, but when it&#39;s time I will be grateful that I lived in the time of the 1960s and the music of Bob Dylan.

This song brings back memories that never happened.

I just watched the entire performance of Maggie&#39;s Farm from Newport (a snippet of it&#39;s in the above video), and it&#39;s the best live performance I&#39;ve seen of any artist ever. The singing hits like cold iron, the song is immortal, and the guitar riff is a killer!

The 18CD Collector's Edition of The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12 is limited to a worldwide pressing of only 5,000 copies, and includes every note recorded during the 1965-1966 sessions, every alternate take and alternate lyric. All previously unreleased recordings have been mixed, utilizing the original studio tracking tapes as the source, eliminating unwanted 1960s-era studio processing and artifice.

The 18CD edition includes Dylan's original nine mono 45 RPM singles released during the time period, packaged in newly created picture sleeves featuring global images from the era. The limited edition includes rare hotel room recordings from the Savoy Hotel in London (May 4, 1965), the North British Station Hotel in Glasgow (May 13, 1966) and a Denver, Colorado hotel (March 12, 1966) as well as a strip of original film cels from "Don't Look Back."
