Mouthwash

Mouthwash is a U.K. four-piece consisting of frontman Ben McCarthy, guitarist Robert Tortelli, bassist Rich Fry, and drummer Chris Hugall. Formed as a trio in 1995 while still teenagers, the band plays hardcore punk influenced by Minor Threat, Operation Ivy, and Bad Religion. In the late '90s, they played London gigs, released the Music for the Average Ninja EP, and founded Hot Wok Records. Fry joined on bass, allowing McCarthy to focus on songwriting and vocals.
