Massive Attack

Massive Attack originated the trip-hop movement with their darkly sensual fusion of hip-hop, soul, dub, and samples. Their roots trace to the Wild Bunch sound system in 1983. Formed in 1988 by Andrew "Mushroom" Vowles, Grant "Daddy G" Marshall, and Robert "3D" del Naja, they released debut Blue Lines in 1991.
