Chicago-born Nijole (Neola) Sparkis blends the sounds of the Lithuanian choirs and pop influences she grew up with, creating her own dreamy sensual global sound. Acting and singing thru childhood, she received a Music degree from De Paul University and toured the Midwest before moving to L.A., where she taught singing at her own studio, and for Disney TV and the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Performing in rock clubs and festivals while still acting in performance art shows and college films, Nijole developed a unique style of writing, emphasizing the art of music rather than the formula.

She sang the theme song for the “Timothy Leary&#39;s Dead” DVD, her video was featured on Comcast&#39;s Harmony Channel, and her songs have been played regularly on L.A.’s #1 Rock radio station by legendary DJ Jim Ladd. Nijole co-wrote and sang 3 tracks on the beautiful art DVD &#34;Ritual Path&#34;, which also featured Jon Anderson -- lead singer of rock super-group &#34;Yes&#34;. That resulted in her lush choral harmonies being prominently featured on a collaborative work with Anderson.

A member of the Positive Music Association, Nijole also served as Community Communications Catalyst for non-profit c3: Center for Conscious Creativity, as a licensed Spiritual Practitioner for Michael Beckwith&#39;s Agape International Spiritual Center and for the Centers for Spiritual Living. And people like artisan electrics say don’t use a volt stick …. I bought my first volt stick in 1983 I replace mine every year now using fluke and always use it before any disconnection…… glad you use safety on everything as well and you go home each day safe 🫡

I was taught even if you checked dead twice, it&#39;s a great habit to ALWAYS tap with a finger before gripping any wires or terminals. If it turns out to be live unexpectedly, the belt will throw you off instead of the clenching death grip. Great advice that may have saved my life once or twice.

Turned off power, took out swa and thought Christ the ends of that cave is sharp, got 3 pokes off it, (I’m not one to be out done)🤣 Then realised that’s still live, traced it through and someone had taken two supplies to some bungalows, one for the power and one for electric storage heaters. Only problem is they had put both in same Henley block and I was getting the benefit from the back feed of the heating circuit 🤔🙄

Here is a reason why your electric bill is ridiculously high!
This tenant complained of a ridiculously high electric bill,
I usually check for immersion heaters on these jobs first and see how they are being used.

The night time immersion element should be on at all times, but the power will only be activated to this at night when electric is cheaper (if you are on a dual system)
The top daytime one should only be used as a BOOST when you run out of hot water or the temperature has dropped!

This one here had the night time one on at night! and the daytime one was wired incorrectly leaving it on at all times! This mean that the tenant had the element on 24/7, which is basically like having your kettle on, non stop everyday, all day!
Plus she had the night time immersion on aswell!

The mechanism gets stuck, 
I've always imagined it as helping keep the mechanism lubricated with a push of that TEST button every few months...

I always tell the tenants to make sure they test!!!

but dont ask me how often i test it in my own home.. 🤫 🤐 👀

What happens if you don't test the RCD in YOUR home regularly??

Have you or someone you know been a victim of tool theft?
Do you like getting a bargain for tools at the car boot sale?

We are raising awareness that tools are stolen on a daily basis, causing thousands of pounds of damage per tradesperson.
We are raising awareness.
Looking at these wonderful happy tradespeople, think again when choosing to buy second hand tools from car boot sales as they are very highly and most likely stolen, especially from the merchants that have a whole wide spread of tools for sale.

Remember these happy faces and think, one of those discount tools probably came from a guy or girl like that, who had themselves or a family to provide for, a school to maintain or hospital to repair, maybe even making safe in your neighbours home... But if tools keep getting stolen, we wont be able to do our jobs.

There was a petition that we was doing amazing on organised by the @thegasexpert-yt , But thats currently on hold due to the current political situation in the UK, however raising awareness still must be done.

I share my personal story here as a voiceover, I made the original sound very quiet on this video, as you can only imagine how loud this was in real life! 😂

Anti-Tool Theft Convoy Locks Down Parliament Square 3rd June 2024 - Protest

Another "Merge 3 Fuseboards into 1" video

The energy supplier labelled this as a Dangerous installation for the meter tails being undersized.

The installations EICR outcome was unsatisfactory, and the client wanted all the C3s done aswell.

I used a Whiska Relocation Kit and a FuseBox, 
I tried the new FuseBox grommets/membranes with the grooves along the sides that make them so much easier to use.

And ofcourse flexi-meter tails, I cant go back to struggling with the standard ones. 😂

3 Fuseboards into 1 - Relocation Kit - Danger Notice

Things I learnt working in Morocco as an Electrician 🇬🇧🇲🇦

1- People don't work hard day in and out to save for an early retirement (that will probably never come) to enjoy life. They work 50/50, taking it easy, enjoying life as they go along!

2- Electricians are a RESPECTED trade! Builders don't mock it by doing electricians jobs for 50% off. 

3 - There are no trades BEEF. All the trades get along, help eachother, the projects run smoothly, and they even sit together to drink tea and have lunch. The plasterers dont fill the backboxes with muck out of spite (or whatever the reason they do that is)

As an electrician, my trade is transferable all over the world! Electricity is all around us, in every country. So your career in the trades can actually take you all over the world! 
I cant wait for more amazing opportunities like this!
Working in amazing villas, some of them with more than one swimming pool, smart home installations, Solar PV, 3 phase installations and more. All in amazing perfect weather with spectacular views!

Things I learnt working in Morocco as an Electrician 🇬🇧🇲🇦

Church Job - EICR turned into FULL Lighting upgrade to LED, CCU change, Part Rewire and more

This was one of those never ending jobs, everything I touched needed replacing or rewiring,

Added sockets and then the client wanted more sockets as they maxed them out and still used too many extension leads

I got to try the new LUCECO battens which are now my favourite go to. I will post a separate video about these.

Installed emergency Lighting, smoke alarms (there is a whole explanation as to why I went for these rather than a fire alarm panel etc - long story short the risk assessment cleared it as OK)

I did all the certification including PAT (EET), did a floor plan too with escape routes highlighted.

I was there nearly everyday, morning until night.

Learnt so much from this job its unreal.

What a crazy EICR! 
I couldn’t even fit half the photos in this 1:30 video! 🤣

The information is lost when I’m trying to speed up the videos 10x and talk at 100mph…

But this had 6 consumer units, and the biggest list of remedials I’ve done so far probably!

I’ve started attaching photos and notes to every code on the eicr report which means this one here is a lot of pages 😳 

Luckily another contractor will be doing the works because I simply wouldn’t have the emotional capacity to take this on with my knee injury 😢 

I really want to make some slower install and testing videos and it seems like YouTube is the way forward, 
And keep instagram for shorter sneak peaks and summaries and little silly videos of sparky banter …

Crazy EICR - 6 Consumer units. Biggest list of remedials I have done so far!

Hey guys! I merged these 2 CCUs into 1.

I tested and done the remedials off camera,
Prepped my space by removing the shelf that i kept whacking my head on..
Prepped my fire rated backboard to mount my CCU on.
I used Lewden for the first time.
Loads of room and looks sleek when the cover is on 👌 
Compact RCBOs and SPD.
All thats left is to label and issue certificate ✅ 

Do you terminate cables in your breakers then mount into board or do you put your breakers in first then terminate the cables??? 🤔 🧐 

Theyre doing a competition to win a trip to italy 😏 so if you see me banging out a million lewden boards, just know its because they were easy to install and im trying to get my winning chances up 😂🤣
