Les McCann

Les McCann, born July 16 1935 in New York City, is an acclaimed American soul‑jazz pianist, vocalist and composer whose energetic blending of hard‑bop, gospel, R&B and funk helped define the genre of jazz‑funk in the 1960s and ’70s.
