Rosé, whose real name is Keren Meloul, is a French singer, songwriter, and author known for her intimate folk-pop style. Born in Nice, France, she adopted her stage name from the 1979 Janis Joplin biopic, "The Rose". Before embarking on her music career, Rose studied law and worked as an elementary school teacher in Paris.
