Charles C. Jenkins II, born on December 14, 1975, in St. Petersburg, Florida, is an American gospel singer, songwriter, and minister, now also known by his R&B persona, Dr. Chuck. Jenkins pursued higher education at both Moody Bible Institute and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. From 2000 to 2019, he served as the senior pastor of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Chicago, founded by Clay Evans.
