Ian George Brown (born 20 February 1963) is an English musician. He was the lead singer and the only continuous member of the alternative rock band the Stone Roses.
Brown began his solo career in 1998 with the release of his debut album, Unfinished Monkey Business. The album was a commercial success, reaching number two on the UK Albums Chart. Brown has since released six more solo albums, including Golden Greats (1999), Music of
