People may be familiar with Noah Thompson as the winner of American Idol Season 20 (2022) and his hit song “One Day Tonight,” but the version of Thompson people have seen and heard is incomplete. Now that Thompson has become comfortable with showing all the cards in his hand, he’s determined to introduce everyone to who he was, who he is and who he is becoming.

Driven by his determination to be a great father as well as a great artist, he’s not just content with whatever he can get his hands on. He’s intent on making his own breaks.

These days, Thompson has made a lot of changes in his life, personal and professional. Personally, he’s Dad to 3-year-old son named Walker who is the catalyst for every decision he makes. Professionally, he has taken complete control of his musical career and with two hands on the wheel has started to steer it in a much more honest and vulnerable direction. 

On the heels of Luke Combs&#39; releasing &#34;Front Door Famous,&#34; that was co-pinned by Thompson, he&#39;s releasing &#34;Upbringing,&#34; his debut single as an independent artist on August 23rd. The autobiographical tune, penned by Thompson, Lalo Guzman and Josh Dorr, is a verbal, hauntingly honest autobiographical account of Noah&#39;s life. It&#39;s making a big statement both musically as well as personally. Thompson is slated to release two additional songs before the end of the year and working towards a longer project in 2025.

To think, this was the kid who had just sung on the construction site, had no confidence in himself, his best friend saw something in him that he didn&#39;t see in himself and signed him up. Now, look where you are! A long way from the construction site now! All it takes is one person believing in you and hopefully, you start believing in yourself and look at the places it can take you! I hope he keeps his music videos similar to this. The authenticity in the videos and his music in general just makes it feel like some type of blue collar anthem

Don’t know much if anything about Country music being born and raised in California for over 63 years and a 1970’s old school rocker but this kid transcends music genres. What he does touches the heart but how he does it comforts the soul. Always keep your boots laced up tight and on the ground. Well done my brother as your tool is no longer a hammer.
