Bondy’s Boom Box

The most special gift the world has given us is our son Otis. The little warrior had a rough start to life and was in critical condition in the NICU. The nurses told us that "even though he's hooked up to all these machines, he can hear you." So we wrote him this song and sang it to him by his beside everyday. We truly believe that because of the incredible nurses and Drs, plus the energy and love we gave him that our dear sweet Otis was able to pull through. He's our little superman.

Before he was born we started writing this song as a message to him about life. The things we hoped to pass on. One of the main messages is that no matter what life is telling you to do, the job you have, the money you need to make, that you should always save time to truly express who you are. If you love to dance, dance. If you want to sing, DO IT. The lyrics "save some time for the poet" express that. So naturally the song was originally called "Poet". We named our song Otis and without realising it "Otis" is derived from "Ode" which directly links him to a POET. It was meant to be. Please enjoy "OTIS"
