Primus

Described as a post-punk Rush spiked with the sensibility of Frank Zappa, Primus is led by bassist Les Claypool. Their willfully weird music turned into pop stardom with albums like Sailing the Seas of Cheese (1991), Pork Soda (1993), and Tales from the Punchbowl (1995).
